Our DreamGF review: a companion platform with a brand-new Shorts shelf

One of us has kept a chat going with a DreamGF companion for months, so when a NEW tag appeared beside DreamGF Shorts in the menu, that person was pressing play before the rest of us finished reading the announcement. The others watched over a shoulder, argued for an hour and reached a more measured verdict. The gap between those reactions is what this DreamGF review is about.

The sections below follow the questions we asked ourselves, in order: what is DreamGF, how much can you watch for nothing, what does a membership cost once the welcome price expires, and how far behind Candy AI, Secrets AI and Crushi AI does it finish?

The short version: 6.5 out of 10, last of the four platforms we rate. Strong companion tools, a three-series shelf and a renewal price worth reading twice. Episode 1 of each series is free and needs no account, so that is where to begin.

DreamGF in a nutshell: a chat platform with a Shorts tab

DreamGF is an established AI girlfriend platform: you chat with AI companions, create your own, generate images, trade voice messages, make voice calls and work in a Photo & Video Studio. The footer names DreamAI SRL of Bucharest, Romania as the operator, and the menu links sister sites eHentai.ai, DreamBF.ai and JustPorn.ai.

DreamGF Shorts is the section flagged NEW in the menu, headlined with a promise of new episodes every week. On our last check it held 3 series of 5 episodes each, 15 episodes in all. A series runs about 7 to 8 minutes and single episodes last from 0:48 to 2:45, so the whole shelf fits comfortably inside a lunch hour. It all plays in a web app on desktop and mobile browsers.

Is DreamGF free? What you get before paying

A thin slice of it is, thinner than at any of its three rivals. Episode 1 of every series is free and plays without an account. Episodes 2 to 5 need an account and cost 20 coins each, or 60 coins for all four through the ‘Unlock all 4’ button instead of 80. Crushi AI and the standard series on Candy AI open two episodes, and Secrets AI reaches two once you sign up, so a single free episode is the first thing we would change.

Logged-in free users also see a banner offering 15 free tokens for verifying an email. Locked episodes are priced in a gold coin, and the header balance in that same coin is labelled Tokens. Fifteen fall short of the 20 an episode asks, so the bonus is a courtesy, not a ticket.

The free tasting is quick: three opening episodes, each under two minutes, played back to back. Open an account only if one premise keeps nagging at you, and spend coins on that series alone.

DreamGF pricing: three billing lines and one steep renewal

Here is where we slowed down. The pricing page labels look swapped: a ‘3-Month Membership’ title, for instance, sits beside the monthly billing line. So we describe each plan by its billing line, the money you actually hand over.

• Monthly billing: $12.99 for the first payment, then $25.99 a month.
• Quarterly billing: $29.97 for the first payment, then $77.97 every 3 months.
• Yearly billing: $69.99 for the first payment (about $5.83 a month), then $311.88 a year.

Whichever line you pick, a membership carries 100 tokens a month, voice calls and messages, image generation up to 5x faster, blur removal, faster responses and a cancel-anytime promise, with private billing and no adult transactions on your bank statement. Token packs, from $2.99 to $179.99, are one-off purchases for members only.

A series has four locked episodes: 80 coins one by one, 60 with the bundle. All three cost 180 coins with the bundles, 240 without. The 100 monthly tokens cover one full series with the bundle plus about two more episodes.

The catch is the second payment. Candy AI charges $13.99 a month, Secrets AI $19.99 and Crushi AI $12.99, so DreamGF’s $25.99 renewal is the highest ongoing monthly price of the four. Take the monthly line, finish what you came for and cancel before the renewal if the shelf has run dry. Circle that second payment in red.

Is DreamGF legit? What we checked before saying yes

For us, legitimacy comes down to paperwork and exits: a named company, visible prices, discreet billing and an easy way out. DreamGF ticks every box: a company named in the footer, prices on the page before you pay, private billing, memberships that cancel anytime and a first episode that costs nothing.

So, is DreamGF legit? As far as our checks go, yes. What gives us pause is practical rather than suspicious: the Shorts section is too new to have a history, and the swapped plan labels could trip up anyone paying in a hurry, so confirm the billing line at checkout. Starting on the monthly line keeps the commitment small. The platform is for adults only, and every character on it is fictional and over 18.

Three series, all DreamGF Originals: the Shorts library

Line the shelves up and the problem is plain: DreamGF has 3 series and 15 episodes, Crushi AI 12 and 59, Secrets AI 21 and 105, and Candy AI 142 and 820. That is the smallest Shorts shelf of the four, and the reason Shorts Library is DreamGF’s lowest mark, 3.5, against 9.3 for Candy AI.

All three series use DreamGF’s own characters, and the Creators filter holds nothing yet. In score order: Shared Between Roomies (7.9), a flatshare that stops following its own house rules; My Stepmom (7.8), in which a work trip leaves Daniel, an adult, sharing a hotel room with Janet, his stepmother by marriage and no blood relative; and My Dirty Piano Lessons (7.6), where Yana, 24, an adult taking private piano lessons, falls for the married man giving them. All three are fictional role-play between consenting adults, and our best DreamGF Shorts ranking takes them one by one.

The companion side is where DreamGF shines

This is the part DreamGF has practiced longest. Each series names a lead you can chat with, so a story does not end when the credits do. Members add voice calls and messages, faster image generation (up to 5x), blur removal and quicker replies, and you can create your own AI girlfriend.

AI Features earns 8.6, DreamGF’s best mark and third among the four platforms: close behind Secrets AI (8.8) and Candy AI (9.0), just ahead of Crushi AI (8.5). Viewers who only want stories can ignore that number. For anyone who treats the post-episode chat as the main course, it is the reason to be here, and our teammate with the months-old companion calls it the only score that counts.

DreamGF’s five scores, and the 6.5 they add up to

• Shorts Library (25%): 3.5. Three series, 15 episodes: the smallest shelf we rate. Candy AI leads at 9.3.
• Video Quality (25%): 7.8. Steady rather than spectacular. Candy AI leads at 8.6.
• Pricing & Value (20%): 6.0. One free episode per series and a $25.99 renewal. Crushi AI leads at 8.6.
• AI Features (15%): 8.6. Chat with each series lead, voice, image tools. Candy AI tops it at 9.0, with Secrets AI on 8.8.
• Ease of Use (15%): 7.6. A web app with private card billing. Candy AI leads at 8.8.

Run those through the weights and you land on 6.5. Good chat tools cannot carry a criterion that counts for a quarter of the total, so the shelf decides where DreamGF ends up, and we will rescore it as new series arrive.
